All our staff undergo regular training as part of their personal development and to ensure we comply with our legal obligations.
Roofing & Asbestos Team:
All roofing team members are trained to the highest of standards, and work to industry best practices. They all hold valid CSCS cards and NVQ level 2 in slating, tiling and flat roofing as well as Asbestos Awareness qualifications. All team members have continual Health & Safety training as part of their personal development including:
- Working at height
- Safe driving at work
- Use of ladders
- Hazardous substances
- Fire safety
- Manual handling
- Safe use of off-hand grinders
- COSHH awareness
- Electrical safety
- Noise awareness
- Vibration awareness.
All asbestos team members have:
- Face-fit certificates by a Fit2fit accredited fit test provider
- Medicals by an HSE approved doctor
- Fully trained by the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) annually.
